I think one of reasons why it’s harder is because in Antibirth, the room you fought it in was more appropriate for the boss’s attacks and size, while in this one, the room is simply too small for a fair fight

This is a little off topic but I still want to mention it: So I was trying to defeat delirium as the lost and had been grinding run after run with no success, until I got the perfect strategy and finally made it to the void. When I walked into the delirium arena I was completely in the zone. I was dodging like I had never dodged before and my heart was racing. I literally felt the adrenaline in my vienes as I slowly drained his HP until I eventually got him down below 5% HP and well... I got telefragged by mom's foot and died. Controllers were smashed

Mother was the last boss to unlock godhead, had a godly run with guppy (with 9live and collar) , godhead, crown of light, and 6.0 tear with a decent amount of damage up, died 11 time streak to mom phase 2 spinning wiggle tear attack because i ate magic mushroom and one larger pill 😑😑 it was practically undodgeable (AND 3 time i died 1sec before mom 😑😑)

Dude. How the actual f*ck?!? I got to this boss fight 2 times, full health, 12 hearts, and died both times. I just tried again and beat it with Isaac thanks to a Sun card. Like, the first phase is not that bad (as long as she doesn't decide to do that BS undodgeable pong fistula attack), but the second phase, god, 90% of it's attacks are guaranteed hits, especially the one where it spins and fills the screen with wiggle worm tears, like how the actual hell is ANYONE supposed to dodge that crap? Congrats. And Jesus Christ, whoever came up with this boss should be tied to a chair and forced to beat it without taking a single hit, seriously.

the lost doesn't need to, the door is free. the lost can also enter the mirror without touching the white fires as they're already the lost!

@@DragonSoulSC Yep, Holy Mantle's I-frames use to scale off of the damage you would've taken (meaning Champions and enemies from Womb and beyond gave more I-frames) but Repentance changed it so that Holy Mantle only gives 0.5 seconds of I-frames leading to some rather unfair Lost or Tainted Lost (using Holy Card or Wooden Cross) deaths

yeah. if you want a full guide: first you need to unlock the alternate path by beating hush 3 times. you probably already have done this. after that you need to go to the alt path at the start and on downpour/dross 2 you'll find a room with a mirror in it. on that same floor you can find a white fire, touch it and you'll become the lost and you can enter the mirror. (watch out, since you're the lost if you die in the mirror you die for real). once you are done with that you can proceed to the mines/ashpit as long as you have 2 bombs the second piece will be in mines/ashpit 2, you'll find a room with a bridge with 1 yellow switch next to it. you need to find all the switches on the floor to fill out the bridge, and you'll find the second piece in there. as long as you have 2 hearts to sacrifice you can pay that to enter the mausoleum. after that it's pretty straightforward, what you got can be used to enter the red door

After killing The Lamb (either for the first time or as Isaac) you unlock missing poster. If you have it go die in a sacrifice room and you will respawn as the lost. Keep in mind that the lost doesn’t have health meaning one hit is done for. However, he starts with the holy mantle if you donate money to greed

Rebirth: Die 4 times in a specific order. (Isaac to a Mullibomb on Basement, Maggie to your bombs on Caves, Judas to a Mom hit and Azasel to a Satan hit.) It's also worth noting that there's another Trinket that can kinda work as a substitute for Missing Poster, that being Mysterious Paper [beat ???/Blue Baby as Eden]... _kinda_ The deal with Mysterious Paper is every frame it can have the effect of Polaroid, Negative, Missing Page, or Missing Poster, meaning if you use it as a substitute, you have a 25% chance of unlocking Lost after killing yourself on Sacrifice Room spikes There's also the issue that getting Mysterious Paper consistently is about as hard as getting Missing Poster consistently, however there is an unlockable item that'll always give you Mysterious Paper, the issue is unlocking _that_ [the Divorce Papers, unlocked by clearing Boss Rush as the Forgotten, and if you don't have Forgotten unlocked, believe me when I say that it's even more convoluted than Lost's method is now...though Lost's Rebirth method might barely be more absurd]
