Thanks for this video! Bird flu has been found on a few farms in my area, and in a wild red tailed hawk. Most cases of farm flocks getting the flu was because of a pond on the property that the flock has access too. Recommend to block off access to pond and try to keep wild water fowl off the pond. Also noted if you can't keep your birds indoors to at least keep food off ground and only the flock have access to the food and water. Also good to disinfect button of your shoes before entering your flock area.

Where it came from? Snow geese are dropping dead. They travel in giant flocks. Each night they roost and the sick ones are left behind. Ross geese are particularly infected... So far the ducks aren't mingling so it's mainly snow geese. The white ones.

Agree! They put us in quarantine 2018/19 in Ca because of supposed VND. CDFA killed people’s pets, even house birds. Came with warrants, cut off locks etc and never showed one positive test the entire two years. If there was a positive case within a 3 mile radius they killed all of the poultry/pigeons in that radius. It was maddening. We actually ran them out of our town and refused them testing our birds. No one I knew ever had a sick bird.
