i live in the us,, and use a high start . think i prefer them over a winch. that's a personal choice though latest project is a LARS 2 meter sail plane, we will see how this ship thermals. it's a nice looking plane and i hope it does well

Hi I want to buy myself one too but : theres the artf and the kit and i dont know witch one to buy cause ... artf : people say its bullshit because theres almost no glue in it and its almost falling apart. Kit : I have never built a balsa model so i DONT have ANY equipment to build one and no idea how to build it. Can someone pls help me to decide?

i have had two ARF's I powered them. the second one is perfect. 20 flights, flys lovely. I did fiberglass the center joint (added 2 ounces) since the first one split in two in the first minute of flight modified with a strong motor in a high G loop. The factory gave me a new one.

My BoT is now "under reconstruction" after hard crash. Really hard - Broken fuselage on many places, wing in two picese - central part was broken after harder flying. During repairing, when I see inside wing, many glued joint was "dry"" Without a glue, or with dry glue... Really very bad work... And fuselage same story. So - my recomendation is - buy "scratch build" version of this airplane. No this RTF version...!

Google Frank Zaic-he made this wing design popular in the 40's hence the name. I built models like the Thermic 50X free flight tow line when I was a kid. The BOT I built from scratch from plans in the early 80's is still my favorite.

Type in RC glide plane. If that dont work check out china RC glide plane. You can buy them in bulk deliverd to the dock,s at a fraction of the price. I bought 1000 christen eagles from them, i made £60 clear profit per unit. I sold out in 7 days flat

Scott DeArmond Actually.quality of this kit was very bad. Glueing of wing was tragical. dry glue on dray lasered pieces, bad construction... unfortunately, you will not see inside until you will crash... :(

One of the anti - rotation hole location on the wing tips was .1 out of location, so just filled & redrilled.but understand what you are saying
