THE BIRDS // Nikkah (Marriage) Ceremony of Neha & Alman

Bismillah (بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ). "Among God's signs - the heavens, the earth, the birds, the seas...Among his signs is that God created for you partners in marriage."
In the most intimate video I have gotten the privilege and honor to put together, I wanted to share what that blessing of God's sign looks like.
My Apa (big sister), Neha and brother-in-law, Alman are truly a match made in heaven (Mashallah). They work passionately in their fields which touch the hearts of so many and leave the results to Allah. They have sacrificed everything for their families, work tirelessly for their communities, and best of all look at each other as teachers.
I’m always inspired by their love, commitment, and selflessness with one another and all those by their side. I truly believe marriages like this benefit the communities around them tremendously and help set a positive standard for how a husband and wife can empower each other to live a beautiful life.
I hope it too can inspire you and that you will make dua (prayer) for them to always remain this happy, grow their love, create positive impact, and remain humble (Ameen).
Dr. Umar Faruq Abd-Allah, who so beautifully performed this Nikah, said to us during the ceremony, "Marriage has to be public. Marriage is not to be secret." And so I thank all those on behalf of our families who watch and celebrate this moment with us.
