what equipment are you using - seems to do a great job
Have ya ever considered using those stilts that drywall workers use to get the tops ?
@MikeTheGardenGuy2 ай бұрын
@@bitteroldman2714 Yes I have seen people use them before for long hedges but they are quite time consuming setting them up and moving them. Also take up a lot of room in my truck with all the other tools I carry. Thanks for the suggestion though bitteroldman 😁

Thinning out the bird of paradise instead of just taking out the dead stuff would make them look better and stand out from the hedge IMO. Then you could thin all the clumps of the BOP's to have the same height and look.

I completely agree with you@@cherylzarns9931 I wish I had the time to completely thin out the clump, open up the space and just have a small group to thrive. Unfortunately I only had 20 mins to prune the hedge and cut back BOP from overhanging the lawn. Not my best work lol, but thank you for watching and also your constructive feedback. ☺️🤩

It looks like the hardest part of pruning bird of paradise is getting the dead flowers out….

It definitely is@@joannloos17 they look so pretty if maintained, but once left to grow out of control the become so myself and hard to clean out. 😁🤩
