The Birth of Spidey! A big surprise!! 😍🕷️🕸️Spider-Man | Friesian Horses

Spidey is born!! Is it a Spiderman or a Batman?? We will see. Luckily we were there and were able to help Daisy deliver Spidey. I really doubted if I was doing it right.
Glendy, Dieuwke and Kiki think Spidey is also very interesting!
Fortunately, I can still remember this well. After the fall with the horse and that I was in a coma.
I made 2 videos of what happened to me. This is the first video again that I show you as I came up with the channel Friesian Horses. Although there are no Friesian Horses in this video but Shetland ponies.
I try to post a video every now and then. But not as often as before. Maybe that will come later.

So cool that this was Bauke's first birth--my mom had never seen anything being born in spite of having 5 children (her doc thought women were best unconscious when giving birth!). So when I rescued a stray dog who was pregnant, she & my dad drove 50 miles to be there when the dog delivered. They arrived in about 45 minutes & Mom jumped right into the pen & started helping. I was so astonished--my mom wasn't crazy about dogs & tended to be a bystander most of the time--also, my dog had never met her. I had to go to work for a couple of hours, but when I got home, mom was beaming. She talked about that for years--it was one of the biggest experiences of her life. Birth is a truly sacred event.

It was interesting to see that even for the dogs it was a fascinating event. Everyone was watching, what was going on. Kicki was scared a bit. But Dieuwke was licking his face, just minutes after Spideys birth. No wonder that they are best friends now.

Some studs just throw larger foals. You can also have a large stud throw tiny foals every time. Some people select a stud based on their past foals size at birth for first time mommas so the first baby is more likely to be smaller. After that it's not as big of a deal.

Daisy and Spidey did great. Of course we are aware all is well for the two of them. I really enjoyed seeing the others respond to the arrival of Spidey. They were very curious and welcoming.
