Why do you think it was important that everything in the universe was represented by a god or mythological figure of some kind?

The same reason it's important to have conscious beings in the world. As in, not important. That's not how that works. The Greeks were animists. They didn't have many Gods because they wanted to. They had many Gods because they sensed the plurality in the numen of the world

By attributing a personality to these aspects of the universe, it allows us to form personal, social connections with them. It also allows us to form close bonds with them and show them respect and gratitude for the gifts they give. Each of these aspects are separate from one another but work in unison with each other. It is important to see them as separate to understand how they work separately but also how they work together to form the cosmos as we experience it. It allows us to see the order in what others might see as chaos.

Well, bcz stories are fun! And these stories predate the ancient Greeks. They go all the way back to the folks who wrote in cuneiform, like your logo! The names are different, but the stories are pretty much the same! Gilgamesh was well known then. The Pleiades and Orion are mentioned in the Bible, as navigattional becons,so they were known by the ppl who lived in Ur of the Chaldees. Job, the oldest book in the Bible mentions them as does another one, Habakkuk, i think. Abram came from there. His great grandson, Joseph, was sold into slavery in Egypt most likely taking the stories. Traveling by day was only possible on land if there were roads. Traveling by night, you look up and see a gazillion stars all making pictures, and voila, stories!!!😅 Fun!!! 🎉

Reading the Greek myths is an inspiring source of literary reference. Though old, these classics are the reason why we have stories to tell, unique works of art and architecture, figures of speech, first names like Jason and Penelope, films and TV series like the Star Wars franchise, Clash of the Titans, and Doctor Foster, and even books like the Wonder Woman comics by DC, the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series by Rick Riordan, and The Sandman graphic novels by Neil Gaiman.

Well said Kelly but the biggest mystery is how they knew that time and their writings are now confirmed by Gaia herself ? Not that i dont know the answer, just curious that noone understands much about them nowadays... It is too easy for some, but so hard for others to understand!
