The random silly dancing & skipping in the halls always makes me smile. Also I notice Jessica Safron looks alot like Alyson Hannigan, esp. in this vid bc of her smile and hair. if you are here in 2024? This Video was made in 2013 NOT by Birthday Massacre But by Michael Cook. HOLY MOSES JERRY STEIN! I had no idea this was an independent production and still holds up beautifully today. Lighting , cinematography and absolutely fluid emotions of the actors and the cutscenes make this an absolute gem to experience. I was on KZbin music looking for the birthday Massacre this morning, and I wasn't really familiar with who Michael Cook was but it showed up in the playlist under B.M. and low and behold , this is one of my favorite music videos of the B.M. it just absolutely hits! Sound quality is top notch and everything just fits. The transitions from the inside to the outside spaces actually is somewhat color matched and doesn't overly distract from the music video storyline. Very few music videos today come with an actual plot of something you're really interested in seeing all the way to the end but this is one of those videos. Again shockingly good for an independent production bravo Mr. Cook! And lets not forget the excellent acting by the rest of the team and makeup and wardrobe. I can't believe that's the same girl from the one in the Pico to the one in the dress absolutely amazing the transformation there: Hair / Makeup / Wardrobe: Francie VanHoven (made 2 people out of one! ) Featuring: Jessica Safron as The Girl in the peacoat, and in the white dress as the Ghost. Adam Dravian as the British Lunchtime rowdies. (2023 meme) Hopefully he has a chance to do something similar in the future I would really look forward to it.

You should try Dir En grey (from Japan), What The Blood Revealed (Belgium), Gotthard (Switzerland), Gojira (France), Solstafir (Iceland), etc, etc... (I have a lot more if you want !) The world of music is totally opened to the listeners but not that easy for artists... Keep your ears and mind open !

Lol...one word.Misery. That's sort of what this reminds me of, except the revenge seems justified. I love all the comments about...she's so pretty. Well yes, but the real heartbreak is it was her undoing too wasn't it? I agree the dancing really gives it that sinister feel. When you first watch it you are thinking happy go lucky right? You know, this sounds weird but I could see this video as sort of a way to open dialogues about trauma and women's safety. The look of confusion was really great on the actress's part. It's weird when you have those mixed feelings.
