As someone said, Vialism is the religion in Dema that the Bishops rule with. In the lore recap video they made Ryler calls it a hijacked religion. The Bishops are using it for their own purposes rather than what it’s meant to be. Love your reaction, as per usual. ❤️

“East is up” is an interesting phrase they use There’s a lot of mention of direction in their songs but east seems to be mentioned as a way out or a saving grace- which is also interesting because there is a lot of mention of the “rising sun” or “morning sun” which could also mean the “rising son” which is the way out- AKA his relationship with Jesus is a way out of his own head and helps him with mental health. Just a perspective Also! “I’m lighter when I’m lower, I’m higher when I’m heavy” This line has been mentioned to mean how comfortable he gets in his depression. How it’s easy to be lower and heavy. It takes effort to get out of it.

I just cannot get over what an absolute banger this song is, or how cinematic all their videos are. You can really tell that Tyler has a vision every step of the way, and it's incredible how well it's able to be translated on-screen. I can't wait for you to see more of the story unfold! Banditos represent his family and friends there for support but they cannot do it for him they can only be there for him With his insecurity depression anxiety They are being controlled by dema but he keeps attempting g to escape from them( his mental state) Nico /blurry face keeps getting him The yellow flowers in his drawer are all the attempts to escape The yellow is a sign of defiance but also The bishops can’t see yellow So notice the places that Tyler’s put the yellow tape Headphones heart etc The bishops are his bad mental thoughts He just keeps trying to escape

vitalism is the religion of dema where the Bishops say that suicide is the answer and want people to k*** themselves. dema is the city where the bishops live and rule over the citizens there. dema is a city in the continent of trench. the banditos are a group of rebels that are trying to help Tyler/Clancy (Tyler's character in the lore) escape. Josh/Torchbearer (Josh's character in the lore) is the leader of the banditos. the bishops cannot see yellow/don't like yellow so it is the color of the banditos
