Are only ECE students allowed to sit in CSE placements or EEE and EIE students also allowed ?

Yes,they can all sit for CSE related placements and all 3 branches have nearly same average/median in the ongoing round of placements. However do note that 4 saal who branch padhna bhi padega and cgpa laana padega so understand the differences in course structure and different subjects.

why would you go to BITS with a percentile like that? you got a NIT seat right?

If you are genuinely interested in physics and you are willing to put efforts from your end to get your required dual like CS it makes sense,otherwise take up nit warangal ece its safer and more affordable

@@hariharan8167 thanks for replying first of all. i love physics more than myself. due to diff issues that i cant state publically my jee mains percentile came rlly low(78). but am nri so am getting all branches except cse in all top nits now my mock scores are enough for me to get into physics dual and i did and i am and i will work very hard....my father is worried that id something goes wrong and i end up getting a lower branch in my btech course then my future will be at stake. am considering the dual course itself becasue i can do pure physics parally it will keep my fire alive. please suggest something for me.

Bhaiya how is competition less in first attempt cuz bitsat depends on only marks so the competition is same in both attempts ig

Yes competition doesn't change, as it depends only on score and not percentile

I think you should be,as bitsat has two attempts.One in june as well,so make sure to prepare well and do well in both
