My husband was a professional touring musician. I've been to hundreds of shows. Some are ok, some are good, some are great, and then there's the ones that are magical. This was the later. My husband was friends with Eddie. We were saddened to hear of his passing. My husband tried to get him to come back to Detroit and work with him. Now both are gone. RIP Eddie and Robert.

best nothing about Crowely and everything with Rich and Chris Robinson sort of offending him and throwing a big bucket of water all over his excitement. Jimmy Page wasn't as excited for decades and wanted to record produce and even play with the Black Crowes and Rich said naw I'm good! Pagey blinked at him and said ok I won't waste your precious time and split ending the rest of the tour. Ok maybe that was lame too, but I guess it felt like a slap in the face. If Steve Gorman is being acuarate , he said at some point Rich Robinson became jealous of the attention he felt Jimmy Page was taking away from him. Jimmy sure wasn't in need of a pay day. Most bands would be thrilled to have Jimmy indefinitely.
@PageCrowes2 жыл бұрын
Yep and Jimmy wanted to help with new album by playing on or help writing recording. Rich said no thanks to Jimmy's face and that's what pissed Jimmy off and why tour stopped. Gorman new nothing of this and was pissed Jimmy wanted to record new album with them and Rich declined without telling other band mates. Who declines an album with Jimmy Page. I would be pissed if I was Gorman.
