Chris is one of a kind and can still wail with the best of em. Rich is one of the most underated riff masters on the planet.

And his lyrics are poetic too!!! Amazing lyrics especially around the SHMC and Amorica albums. Non Fiction is one of my all time favorite lyrics in a song

IMHO the Robinson bros are the black crowes. Sure some past members are missed ! But Chris and Rich write all the music lyrics and riffs Chris’s voice just gets better with time!

I hear you, and you’re not wrong, but there’s something so special about that Harmony-era lineup. It’s not just Marc Ford’s ripping guitar either. For my money that’s one of the best rock & roll bands ever.

@jmacc98764 ай бұрын
Steve Gorman is a solid "basic" drummer, so is this guy. Neither of them are really Steve Gadd. This guy sounds fine. If anyone is really missed it would be Marc Ford.
@user-nz5jw2yn6c4 ай бұрын
Yes,miss that swing
@yahooty074 ай бұрын
Gorman is more than “basic” He’s the only drummer for TBC. The other guy sounds weak by comparison. Gorman had so much power in his drumming that drove the band. This guy is good, but Gorman had a real swing to his playing.
@johnwainwright45594 ай бұрын
Ghost notes, rim shots, feel and soul are sadly lacking in either of the drummers they've used after Gorman. It makes a BIG difference to Black Crowes music. Some notice more than others.@@jmacc9876

@wallyhitchcock8454 ай бұрын
@dbb124 I stand corrected...on closer inspection, not the PRS headstock I thought I was looking at...lucite?....I think I would have preferred it being the PRS....what does that do to the whole tonewood debate?

LOL it stunk compared to the original. The original was done in one take by a 25 year old kid at the time. This is decent but its a pure money grab by a another hypocrite liberal big mouth.
