I'm no critic or reviewer, but I have to say that this is one of their best works they've put out musically. It may not have some of the catchiest riffs they've ever done, or the best solos they've ever played, but the amazing talent and skill is showcased in a tight cohesive 30-something-minute album. My favourite album by them is most definitely Ritual, with this pretty much tied for first. In my opinion, the second half of the album is the best. Seems like there's more passion and flavourful composition rather than just meaty riffs crispy from the fryer. Like McNuggets to a bomb stew your grandma turned out. Both are great, but grandma's stew sticks to your ribs, man. Fills you up.

man I just came back to this album after years of its release and I forgot how good this one was, I honestly hated Everblack and I dont really like Verminous but this one is so much like everything I loved about their earlier material. Also that album art is amazing looking and I love the album name.

I've always heard that The Black Dahlia Murder were good, but I never tried them. Now, thanks to the automatic reroduction from YT, I can agree with those. A shame I didn't listen to them before.

I understand why they went back to their roots with a "nocturnal" sound. It's probably because they have almost no remaining original members and have just made another lead guitar change. They gotta hit those roots to make sure they still sounds like Black Dahlia Murder

My number one band since unhallowed 👍. At first like every band, they might sell out and have a generic sound after but with these guys...they really play their own music to their liking period. At first it felt like Everblack was the sequel to Nocturnal but after finally listening Nightbringers it truly is the sequel to Nocturnal. Omg Catacomb Hecatomb 😍 I fucking love TBDM. The energy they have and the melodies they come up with. Whenever I listen to them I feel whole. I want them to be a 20 year plus band and keep at it with their art. If by any chance you come accross this and think it's amazing. Listen to every album from them, feel their evolution as a band and what they brought to the world of metal✊✊👏👏

surpasses both my favorite albums of Deflorate and Ritual by far. Honestly some of the best death metal I've heard. Definitely their best album to date. Has an almost unhallowed vibe to it.

The Lonely Deceased solo is some of Brandon's best work. The vibrato, the tone... not many people can achieve that sound.
