@@ajimmar from what I understand the japanese are obsessed with "exclusive" stuff. Some artists have full releases that are japanese only and the artist contractually can't release it anywhere else for 5-10 years haha

@@Sam_T1021 yup started a fight with Patrick Carney at the bar to be honest White Stripes made it on the scene before the Keys. They pioneered garage blues rock onto the map. Also Jack is just one person while Meg just backed him up.

@MrBMJ Most definitely. They're two separate bands, no doubt Black Keys aren't a tribute. They just share some core bits.... Oldies blues characteristics and covers, plus Jimi Hendrix. Either way, both bands rock with their own styles.

@amuddypizza oh absolutely, but they are so much more than the whites stripes tribute band people sometimes mistake them for. I think the black keys would have existed without the white stripes, its just that the white strips used that format first (or made it famous)
