As a born and bred Wellingtonian I've always loved a Black Seeds gig. So was slightly star struck when Bret the vocalist turned up at my house to pick up the secondhand baby cot I sold on Trade Me - sharing is caring for people and planet :)

From dawn till dusk everyday with friends, family and partners. Bqq's, drinks, food, games of cricket, rugby, football everywhere. Just everyone having a good.time.enjoying the beauty of NZ! The sweetest stuff, you give to me It makes me feel fine Every little word that you say to me Keeps my heart on time Red blood flowin' like a rough rapid When you are nearby Ain't no doubt cause it's plain to see You set my soul on fire [Hook] Something so true Is what I get from you And I hope that you'll see You get the best of me Something so true Is what I get from you And I hope that you'll see You get the best of me Ooh wee [Verse 2] Most generous love, you spread around To the people in your life Sharing the weight and the pressure Just to make it right I hope one day that you get it back If that karma stuff is true Here's a little song just to make a start Called something so true

Saw the Black Seeds in a 1800s hotel in Bulli Australia Known to have many ghost sightings The curtains were blowing in the wind; there was dub/echoes and colored lighting in the smoke-- swirling around the old theater It was one of those concerts that went to an entirely different dimension

Was going though some old things and noticed that I was told to check out this song like 10 yrs ago! OMG! Better late than never eh?! ..RIP Woody! PS. Great song! So chilled! Will defo keep this one on the playlist / mp3, especially the fact that good reggae is what my husband and I can agree to, so it's a nice change to listening to Bob Marley on repeat. Need to get rid of my other so called music tracks; noise that is not worth listening to again, to make space for this baby! :-)
