1972 was the year Bowie blazed a magnificent trail with Ziggy Stardust. The Minstrels entertained the mums and dads just as well. How tolerant were the great British people!

I was of the era of liking David Bowie, and I did like some of his songs, but my tastes were pretty old fashioned. I liked shows like this one.

You know what, I liked the Minstrels and Bowie. Different but both entertaining.
