When we live our lives focused on giving, we will find joy and contentment. It is not always easy to be selfless and to put others before ourselves, but when we do, we are blessed.

Giving dosent have to be touchy if you gave them a vision as to where the money is going and how its furthering the gospel locally and worldwide. The church in the west is so wealthy,so its no wonder people aren't envisioned. The rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer' is as true of the church as it is of the world. There are 100s of millions of Christians that lack materially and spiritually, that in itself should tell us there is something far wrong in many of our priorities in the church. Maybe we should question ourselves as leaders and not the people in the pew, after all you are the ones leading them Giving gives right enthusiasm and joy when focused where needed in my experience. Check out what the church and charities are doing with finances for God can open many doors for giving that can make a real difference
