I appreciate your thoughts on different chordings to add variety and sound flavors. I would suggest a full play through so people can compare the original with the additions and omissions, so the different affects and effects influencing the surrounding notes can be heard. Don't worry about people being offended by your version of this song because there is no one voice on this planet. God made us all different for just this reason.
