This one was my favorite yet! I am waiting on surgery due to a birth defect in my back called a Pars-Defect. I haven't been able to work for 2 years because of it. I've always worked and took care of others. Since being out of work I was stuck home by myself A LOT! I found out real quick that I didn't like me. I grew up with a Mother that wasn't a Mother and I also was in a very abusive marriage. The first year of not working I spent A LOT of time in bed and having a self pity party. I also suffer from depression, anxiety and ptsd. Then, in December of 2018 I threw my hands up and told Jesus to take the wheel. I started rewiring my brain and started seeking God. God gets me through every day. Whatever lies ahead I know I can face it. Not every day is a fabulous day but my bad days are getting less and less and I no longer spend all day in bed. TY so much Steve and Elevation Church! God truly blesses you with the right words to speak! God Bless

Lately I have needed the power of God to help with a friend being in the hospital with many health issues. I listen to many of Pastor Stephen’s sermons when I get up in the morning with breakfast. During the 3 hour drive roundtrip to the hospital!!! :) So grateful for his strength, honesty and conviction!!! :) The precious gift he is!!! :) Thank you so much for all you are doing with eFam and the short clips of 10-15 min. My husband and I listen to them while eating breakfast. Going up to hospital again today to visit friend who is very discouraged and afraid of death. Also have been praying for my niece in hospital that was hit by a car who is in very critical condition. Thank you for your prayers!!! :)

Oh man! The part where it is said "You prayed for your problems" I have been saying that about my season I am in for several months. I Prayed for God to take my family and change us completely and to tip our world upside down and right side up in order to make our family into what we need to be. To "FIX" us.. Never did I know that by praying that prayer my life would be in the season it is in right now. It is one of the hardest, but Most GOD FILLED season I have been in and Praise God for him answering that prayer. Pastor hit the nail on the head with that one.

I was there myself visiting that day. When ever I go to Charlotte I stay through Monday just so I can go to Elevation. This entire service was incredible! From the worship experience to the sermon and beyond! Been singing the hook of that worship song “You Can Do All Things, You Can Do All Things But Fail! You Never Lost A Battle! No, You Never Lost A Battle and I know and I know You Never Will!” 🙌🏾 Then to have Pastor Furtick to explain the Blessing of Both! That I prayed for my problems, the danger of me asking God to just get rid of my problem. For Him to remove or stopping some burdens requires Him to remove or stop the blessings. You gotta let them both grow together, the good and the bad, to properly discern what’s truly the good and what’s truly the bad. That had to be one of the best sermons I’ve heard about the Wheat and the Tares (Weeds).

Received a one minute motivation this morning and after I heard it my spirit felt intrigued so I clicked the link to watch the sermon. Oh my dear Lord! What a wonderful and so very humbling message. God is good! I'm one who always wants to run away from the very thing I asked him for. In fact I've been struggling with leaving my "issues", so to speak, because I think that maybe I'll be better off. Maybe its not the intention of Steven, but this message is an eye-opener for LGBT. I asked God (many times) to take away my gay-orientation, and didnt happen. So I have to leave the weed where it is. Now I have so much peace, knowing that God is not judging me for something I didnt choose . But the reality is that Im still judged by fellow christians and/or community. Still I feel that the Lord is present in my trial times.

I really appreciate your feedings from the word. “The power of Both” reminds me of the most amazing pastor that saved my life. He retired 4 yrs ago and I have been searching ever since to find another pastor to feed me. You do. I called Pastor Kent the “Spin Doctor of Scripture” His sermons contained both the Old Testament with the New Testament. At end of the Sermon, it became evident how the Bible is woven together and in its entirety it is a beautiful and masterful tapestry. The Old Testament came to fruition in the New Testament when God became man and fulfilled the Prophesies. Both are important and become so significant when both are looked at together in the same message. I thank God for you. I pray that I can find a church that I can physically go to and be fed in the same way. I have a prayer request that the Lord would lead me to such a church. More importantly that he would lead me to a church that is his will for me. God, Lord my Savior, thank you for answered prayer.

Thank you for this Pastor Steven, I've been dealing with something and this really spoke into me today. God says, the weeds have to grow with the wheat. But even when you pull the weeds, if you don't get the whole root, it will come back up. So just like a garden, you sometimes need to let the weed grow with the wheat again and pull the weeds with the wheat. The trick is you gotta let God get the root during harvest for it not to come back. Stay close to God even in your mistakes!

Was so blessed by this message, a confirmation for the entire body of Christ. For too long tge bride of Christ has been silenced because of an inadequate understanding that God is at work, and He will complete what He has begun. I am going through a huge transition in my life where challenges seem harder to face, I knew deep down God has something planned for me and this tough season was going to pass. I couldn’t help but resist it out of my nature. Last night I fell asleep watching a random KZbin video and suddenly woke up in the middle of the night hearing this sermon. I think I even dreamt about it. I woke up and decided to replay it this morning and God definitely was sending me this message, He knew I needed to hear it at this time. I am so blessed... blessed with both.
