That was such a beautiful poem that I needed so much. I have been through a lot with a bazaar and rare illness I've been struggling with for almost 8yrs. I thought I would get well, but have been trying to make myself accept that I may not. Then in Aug 4th of this year l lost everything in the River Fire wildfire and had to literally run for my life and toss myself in the river. Heartbreakingly losing many of my beloved animals. Now the whole world has gone crazy and Satan wants to once again take our very lives. Our creator in heaven is coming back very soon Hallelu 🙏 Yah and this war will be over. Thank You for the sermon and the beautiful poem that helped me so much continue to walk through the valley ❣️

Left you two critical comments recently, so I thought I’d drop you a positive one this time. :) This was a good message. You’ve got a good tone and rhythm in your voice. I found myself nodding a lot in agreement. I too struggle with impatience. This car about ran into me today and as I passed by them I just stared at them and it was as if my heart was saying to them, “What are you stupid?”. Then they had the nerve to honk at me lol, which only made me more irritated. Then I felt the Holy Spirit say to me, “Did you really need to stare them down?” Had I not even looked at them, they probably wouldn’t have honked because they didn’t honk until they passed on behind me. Or I could have politely waved. Even though it was their recklessness that almost caused an accident, I should have handled it with more love and patience. Failed the test, but learned the lesson!

I’m so sick of hearing these false preachers like Joel Osteen who say that Jesus promises EARTHLY wealth to those who trust in him the most, when it is often times a blessing not to have so much money and Jesus says it’s practically impossible for a rich man to enter heaven, when his whole life has already been filled with Earthly pleasures and a lack in need of Christ and his word.

Ivan Corredera Amen
@sagittariansage_22715 жыл бұрын
Hey brothers, so your comment threw me off Ivan. Im new to sudying scripture. And from what Im understanding abt ur comment, it seems like ur saying its wrong to be well off or comfortable. Why is it wrong to desire comfort and luxury and nice things? From what I have learned abt the ancient Israelites of the bible, they would adorn themselves in fine linen and jewelery etc... Why would our Heavenly Father provide these things for his ppl on earth if we arent to enjoy ourselves or these things here? Where in the bible does it say or imply you cannot be holy and wealthy? No trying to argue, just curious and would like more clarity on what uve stidied. Thanks brother, I hope ure having a great day and week!
@ivancorredera42415 жыл бұрын
Dapper Owl812 I’m not trying to say that it’s wrong to seek such things, just as long as their aren’t sinful like feeding your lust through fornication or drugs; it’s fine to live in Earthly comfort. What I’m arguing is when people like Joel Osteen say that closeness to Jesus means Earthly pleasures, it may send the wrong message that times of poverty of grief means that God is far away, when those moments are actually times that can help us to draw nearer to him at our times of crisis. I didn’t mean to chastise people for living in comfort, but to expose this lie that Christians will always live in Earthly pleasures when our main focus should be at things up above.

I'm not even halfway through and I had to pause this so I could cry and thank God for this word. You have no idea how much I needed this. I have been in so much brokeness and I didn't understand why. I was losing faith because of these sermons just keep focusing on the blessing that's coming after which is great, and I know God has a plan, but it doesn't help me now. I love them but it wasn't the word I needed, I needed something to get me through my season of brokeness. So last night I asked God to give me word, from anywhere, and I finally pressed play on this video.

Tiara, I'm so happy for you. I pray you continue to grow in God's way in this season. I've been through various seasons of brokenness, and will most likely go through more. I didn't know what was going on at the time, and it felt like crap and quite scary. Yet looking back I now understand God was very active, doing a lot of cultivating and teaching me HOW to trust Him. I thank Him for the brokenness, as crazy as that sounds. So I pray you continue to grow as God handles you with His loving care. May Grace and Peace be with you, in you, and upon you forevermore. Bro. Parr, I pray you will receive the following as Apollos did the words of Aquila and Priscilla. Very good practical sermon! What's missing is Christ crucified. Christ is typified as 1) Manna (bread) from heaven, 2) the Rock giving water (the Holy Spirit), 3) the bronze serpent (representing Christ's crucifixion), 4) by Joshua (whose name means God is salvation) representing grace. Moses (the law) could only lead so far, but Joshua (grace) leads across our own Jordan river. I hope you find this helpful. Rev. Kenneth Young

I DO want to comment on one point. I don't know why many people say that you can't be a lone ranger as a Christian. We have to remember that the road is narrow and VERY FEW are on that path. If you are NEVER a lone ranger, then how else will you have the courage to stand when the crowd is going the wrong way? Also, it is SO, SO HARD to find true fellowship even within a church building because many just go because they believe that it would be a checkmark on God's church attendance roll or as a get-out-of-hell ticket........and when you try to fellowship with them, they either judge you for not being on the mountaintop or shun you because I guess when you talk about the challenges of the Christian life, they don't want to hear that. Been there, done that. Now, don't get me wrong: fellowship with a TRUE child of God, mature or immature, who is SERIOUS about their walk with God is a HUGE BLESSING and those who have this are TRULY BLESSED. I wish I had that. But until then, I will just have to be a lone ranger until I find someone, in or out of a church, who is serious about their walk with God and not just in this to get a picket fence blessing here on this earth and a short-cut ticket into heaven.
