There will have to be some blocks that the player could stand on, so the teleportation potion would teleport the player onto the blocks they are on. This could be bypassed by having the player bury themselves with sand, then drink the potion.

Symptoms like coughing, rashes, any sort of out of the ordinary conditions, because they make you "stand out" among the healthy people. Now imagine if everyone had said disease from the get go, like the second you're born you are ill already. No one would be able to tell that there is something wrong with people because the symptoms are natural, since they happen to everyone, and the disease itself wouldn't exist as we don't acknowledge it. I think it's because duneriders aren't coded as 'on top of' sand, but instead 'on sand', period. Where as, say, water walking allows you to walk on top of water, specifically, so they never coded it to work when you are beneath the water. If duneriders are only checking to make sure the players feet are touching sand, it would explain the difference.

5:30 I remember when I was new to the game (and gaming in general) and got my first goblin invasion. So I kept fighting and dying over and over again with no end in sight. So what did big brained 10-year old me think would help? Summoning the Eye of Cthulhu. Because my reasoning was, “Maybe they’ll fight each other” Which went as well as you’d expect. So my next idea was to summon Skeletron because “maybe the big eye won’t fight the small enemies but the big skeleton might fight the big eye” I still vividly remember me running with my Hermes boots with goblins, the Eye of Cathulhu and Skeletron following me. P.s. I “evacuated” from that world and never touched the corruption again until I learned that the invasion ends at some point (thanks to a let’s play)

Ive done this using a mod to generate both evils. It counts the orbs and hearts together and the spawned boss is based on the third one you destroy. (Also theres an easter egg seed in 1.4 that spawns both evils and can be done that way)

The corruption test was giving problems because the Dryad doesn't update her results in real time or immediately after a map save, her results seem to update after a certain amount of in-game time elapses. There's probably a code check at a specific time or times of day to update the numbers.

A random fun fact that you may want to try: setting spears to auto attack (with mods) will cause their hitboxes to not despawn, allowing you to make a force field of hitboxes, this also works with lances (just stop holding the lance then click and hold right before it fully retracts and you'll achieve the same effect), lances that produce particles when swung will also continually spawn particles where the hitbox is If you stop holding the button the hitboxes despawn The Flamelash/Magic Missile also have some weird behaviours with auto-swing on
