So sorry. Heart felt prayers. I understand. My 98 year old mom fell, cutting her head. She went downhill from something that should have be4n prevented. What’s wires is u am a dr for over 40 years from Ohio but in Jax fl. So my mom is dying and right at this time I developed a severe abdominal issue which prob will need surgery quickly and u can’t travel to Ohio to see or be with my mom one last time. It hurts even being 67. I have a 76 yo sister there helping take care if mom , but it’s not at the level I could have fiber if I was well. It is heartbreaking , family have no idea why I can’t travel being this ill l so I am just seen now as an evil son even tho after my fates oassed in 2002, I moved mom in with me but she had a home in Ohio she had to close down. It’s beyond pain , and why did this have to happen with the fall and me getting so ill at the same time? I know GOD controls our lives but this is beyond my understanding. Well. I just wanted to say I’m sorry for your loss. Life is never the same after losing a parent. Praying for your healing as well. Rpmd

Gentle hugs for your broken heart. Something happens when that tether to our moms breaks off. The second my mom crossed, I felt like a 5 year old lost in the world. I dreamed her nearly every single sleep for 2 years afterwards. My soul pup of 17 years crossed on her birthday a year after she did, so I began dreaming them both together. It helped, all those dreams of them. It felt like new memories being made and eased the crushing pain a bit. I still panic when I forget, then suddenly remember she's gone. Why people say 'it's natural' is beyond me because nothing about losing a loved one feels natural. At all. It makes no sense. I hope you have a support circle and can practice extra self-care as you move through the days ahead. Big sorries for your loss. ❤️
