I'm a phlebotomist. I've been drawing blood for a while now. It's very important to make sure of a few things when preparing the arm and the actual draw. If any one of the few things don't go right, the results could be false negative, false positive, high or low. If they have trouble getting his blood, the results probably will be off. The fact they got his blood on first try is probably the reason his results was better. "Food for Thought"

it's impossible to watch Teddy laughing and playing without a big smile on my face, and just as difficult to watch him go through tests etc. without a tear in my eye. He's such a beautiful brave little boy. I'm so happy his blood results were good. Praying that they always will be.

Kate you're looking really lovely today, not that you ever dont! Oh, poor Teddy, I can't begin to understand what your entire family are going through. Juggling work and a sick child too. You're both amazing parents. Only one thing that's a bug bear, is the dummy. Ted is starting to talk behind it. My niece did this. Her baby teeth were perfectly straight, but when her adult teeth came along, they became bucked. The four top front ones grew behind each other, and grew at an angle. She should have had extensive surgery as braces were not an option. She decided against it. I just don't want this to happen with Teddy. I believe the dentists would say he doesn't need it now, and only to give it at times where he's distressed and bed time. However at the end of the day, he's your bright little sparkle lion cub and you do as you feel is best. It's just a point to ponder on. He is a smashing bundle of joy, and is the sweetest little boy I've seen. It breaks my heart, how now associating hospitals as not great places.

Teddy is just amazing! Such a happy boy (except for bloods!) and has such a creative mind! PLEASE make sure you cover the sand pit in some way to keep animals out (esp. cats) from coming & doing their business in there so Teddy doesn’t have any surprises & doesn’t accidentally eat anything he shouldn’t. Also, these animals can carry disease.
