No,xqat, Bible says without the shedding of blood there is NO remission of Sin...thats why the sacrifices of israel BEFORE Christ came to earth as the SACRIFICE for sin, required that blood would be shed.. these rituals were a PRE-FIGURE of when the PERFECT sacrifice(Jesus) would shed His blood and die , for the sins of the whole world...yes, His Word is Truth, but it is His Blood (shed when He was speared, flogged,nailed to a Cross)that paid the death penalty that should have been ours(for sin)

The Blood actually refers to the entire life, death and resurrection of Jesus. Sin is rebellion against God. It brings death and eternal damnation. The consequences of sin are so devastating that we cannot overcome it with good karma. In accepting the Blood of Jesus, we actually allow Jesus to wash away our sins and give us new life. This is why in the last supper before he was crucified, he took the cup of wine in his hands and said, "This is the new covenant in my blood..." Do this in remembrance of me.

Let me be more specific. WHy should it be blood? What is the actual understanding of blood? You say that blood refers to life, death and resurrection of Jesus. Why would we interpret blood like that? Justify it. Cause we should not just proclaim cliche answers, but understand the meaning of the answers. Give me the relationship between the blood of Jesus and how it can wash out the sins of the world. That can be quite beneficial if it can be put as a public question, since all of the Christians just accept it as it is without asking about it. Actually the gospel does not refer too much in that way, but John does. Paul says it in comparison to the old testament etc. The usual expressions are more simple, as "if we confess our sins he is faithful to forgive all" and many many more. We need a clarified answer on the blood even for the old testament's blood, with the temple's sacrifices and generally the meaning of the atonement and redemption. I can write a few things on that, but if anybody needs to debate and spread the conversation, I think it would be more helpful and touching.

Do you really think you can judge Bonnke? I note that you confess "I have little knowledge of his ministry" and I see you also have little knowledge of the man or the application of the Bible. There is a common misconception that men whom God has elevated are automatically corrupted. That is wrong and a false judgment, John 7v24. Rather, we should pray for them and thank God that they regularly rescue many many souls from eternal separation from God.

Looking at the live data feed, worldometers, 30 thousand people died of starvation today.. :( And yet so many religious/spirtuals actually believe that getting down on your knees and clasp your hands help more than actually contributing with volunteer work and donations or even as simple as leaving church.. Talk about people living in a childish dream of wishful thinking and fairies with the cosmic father figure, etc. With all those taxes for churches we could prevent all this.
