I agree with you on the commercialization of the battlefields. Why it is important to join organizations like American battlefield trust.

Nice shirt LOL Deff more on Antietam would great to see, you did a great job on this video 20-30 min video's would be great lets you put out more info. 28 days till we will be back in Gburg for WW2 weekend. maybe do some filming there showing that event hint hint lol Also agree with yr view on how touristy Gburg has gotten having lived in town back in the late 90's and seeing all the changes esp with the # of ghost hunting tours and the loss of some great stores now replaced with palm reading & jewelry stores. and the fast food joints on the main strip are an eye sore , but i do love the new restaurants / museums / wine tasting / Distilleries ect..that have come in.

You might want to consider an episode on the fallacies of the Lost Orders narrative. South Mountain and Antietam would have occurred even if that misunderstood document was never found. Yes Antietam was a tactical stalemate, but it was an operational victory for McClellan (with it he accomplished his campaign objectives, Lee did not) and a strategic victory for Lincoln (Davis accomplished nothing to forward the cause for Southern independence). Glad you mentioned that it was McClellan that attacked Lee. I would add that he attacked Lee believing he was outnumbered and knowing Lee held the high ground. Attacking a superior force of the enemy in an elevated position with less than overwhelming force is not the hallmark of a cautious general.
