Based on the map, Lyptsi seems to be in the low land surrounded by high land on the east and west. The west side is also very forested. The russians will not enter the town until they figure out where everything hides around and clean it. I bet they will first extend south on the East side to secure one high side, and see if they can get to the west side forest from the North or west. Some of the moderately wounded are returned who carry out logistical tasks in the hinterland or behind the front, e.g. those who are limping or cannot use half their hand fully or who have been shot in the face and have a "cosmetic" defect (obviously if they return home they will not have the girls' DREAM, but he can still shoot at the Russians) etc. The Russian casualties are approx. it can be estimated between 50-60%. Why? The Russians arguably have serious air and heavy artillery superiority.
