My impression for the past six months or so has been that rather than using Wagner as a single fighting force, small groups of Wagner soldiers have been peppered throughout the Russian, DPR, and LPR forces in order to dosseminate their fighting experience throughout the whole land army. So basically, Wagner is teaching the Russians how to fight more efectively, as well as leading tactically from the front. Still, it will be interesting to see how the Wagners will or will not be used on the northern Ukraine-Russia border conflict. If Russia doesn't win in 2024 (they still could, though unlilely), it's very clear that, indeed, Ukraine will end up going back on the offensive. The article speaks of 2026-27, but limited offensives could happen in 2025 as the western MIC will have ramped up their production sufficiently (by the start of 2025, they are posed to produce more 155mm shells than Russia produces 152mm). Even more, the soviet legacy reserves should be close to exhausted by the end of 2026 (and the russian production still relies mostly on those reserves), so of course it will become much easier for Ukraine to fight by that point as the russian production either plummets or the cost of the war reaches unbearable levels for the russian economy soviet style. But of course you guys still believe the media narrative and russian propaganda on Ukraine being out of men ;p. 'cause why care about facts on the ground when you can believe in your guts that the frontline is held by nothing but grandpas and infants ^^.

What i find interesting since the failure of Ukraine's greatest counter offensive that began on 4th June, 2023 is this, Russia has yet to commence its own counter offensive, yet, the amount of territories they've claimed far exceeds what Ukraine gained in their failed attacks. So what do you think will happen when the Russians launch their own greatest counter offensive? Will Kharkov, Chasiv Yar and Ugledar also fall like Avdeevka? Just curious.
