The Blue Bowl or Milling Table?

7:00 To hurry the Blue Bowl, turn down water to nearly nothing, take snuffer bottle and squirt water down inner cone all around, chasing gold and sand away. Turn water back up to spec. Rinse, repeat as necessary. Three or four times should do it. The way you did it (with the water turned up high) will chase gold out the inner cone.

Nice little haul there. Got skunked detecting my last trip out near the old Vulture mine. Just wanted to share a no-no I was taught and have always followed. Never touch the small gold or the cons with your bare hands. Why? Doing so will always leave some oils on whatever you handle. And as you know well, gold and oil are natural enemies. All the best. Miller tables are nice for flat gold but if it is coarse I would recommend a blue bowl. Nice work!

Another technique for the lab bottle 10:57 is to tip the pan and shoot the water up into the gold / black sand and with the right amount of pressure it pulls the black sand down and leaves the clean gold behind. Same action as the blue bowl.

At one time i thought i needed a blue bowl and miller table. I don't even use the miller table anymore and only use the blue bowl to clean the super fine black sand from my gold

U need a dream mat for your blue bowl it’s a game changer

Classify to 50 mesh or 100 mesh. Put a hog mat in it, made for the blue bowl, and catch 300 mesh gold. I only use a turbo pan, no sluice as thats how good the turbo pan is. The gold in colorado is micro gold. Then blue bowl it. Then take the black sands and sprinkle around your plants and they grow crazy.

I think Blue bowl suggests a 30 mesh. My blue bowl is marked for different speeds of water. good tip on the lab bottle. My only problem with the bowl is that it is painfully slow. It does the job and gets the gold. Very nice color.😎⛏⛏🔥🔥

First back after the vid Miller table for sure blue bowl always looses gold especially the minuscule stuff from lynx that you can’t see without a 10x loop nice clean up !! and I believe the small “white” rocks are super old lead particles I find those a lot here in Arizona thanks for sharing see you on the next one👍🏻👊🏻

Any recovery works best when you screen down blue bowl is 30 mesh and under id say make sure you do 30 and under and seperate from one another. blue bowl like panning works best when fine gold dosnt have too compete with larger material pan like size material with like size material and recovery same thing you'll see better results..
