Has TheBlueDevils ever considered a theme from Alice In Wonderland? You guys do a lot of abstract visual, chords, and music is good and sounds a lot like aleitoric, jazz, and old 20th century movie soundtracks, etc(dark Disney music done very well). If you ever see and consider my comments, it's not for any reason except to say that you perform your shows very well, and something like Alice seems like something you would do very good at. It's surreal, and has enough color for guard, battery flourishes, and brass music - well, if you read this - I'll leave that to you (i.e. '11 - '15 brass is more polished than Greek marble, and busier than a one armed coat hangar, but sounds better than no taxes). Again, not suggesting a show, but just throwing this out there 'cause it seems like an idea like Alice in Wonderland would suit TheBlueDevils well.

Music Men primarily because if they put it over the uniform it looks weird and doesn't feel right, it's always been like this, plus it could easily wrinkle the uniform and be very uncomfortable to move in at high tempos

Imagine listening to an EDM but the climax never happens. That's every Blue Devils show pretty much. It's almost like every show is them saying "We're the best, we have the most money" and it's pathetic. Now I don't hate the Blue Devils, but I believe that Crown was most definitely robbed in this DCI Finals.
