What a ride! I thoroughly enjoyed this drop as I too have been on both of those scenic routes. But, I did the Skyline Drive with a cousin in '12 and the Blue in '18 when I rode back to his graduation at Blacksburg. I didn't stay at Little Switzerland but two miles east at Big Lynn Lodge which I felt was fabulous. I had ridden the Natchez Trace Parkway on the same trip from Arizona. Yes, I'll have to do that again and check out some of the places you pointed out. I have many pictures of Silver at some of the same lookouts. Ah, memories! I hope you get to do the NC route up to the Mt. Mitchell State Park and the lookout on one of your trips. It was spectacular as well. Thank you for sharing!

Of course, we made it all the way to the end of the video. It was a spectacular video. I'm glad you made the video. As I stated in the comments of one of your previous videos; I rode my motorcycle CTX700N from the North Entrance Skyline drive, connected to the BlueRidge Parkway(what's up with those detours) to Cherokee NC. Then into Robbinsville NC. Your video makes up for the footage I lost when my action camera disappeared while sleeping overnight at the "free" NFS Oronoco campground near Amherst Virginia. Lesson learned. I also camped at the Big Meadows Campground with no reservation, and they had a site for me to pitch my tent. Big Meadows is an excellent campground (no issues Flush toilets and showers too). Other motorcycle camps along the BlueRidge Parkway are Willsville Motorcycle Camp, and further south Mountain View Motorcycle Campground (They are private, but less to camp than the NFS campgrounds and they have a clubhouse, showers, and coffee in the morning.
