Something to keep in mind: more than once the Cup champs had a losing pre-season. Pre-season is an opportunity for the coaching staff to do their tweaking without repercussions.

All the games I've seen, Blues played a plethora of youth...meaning I don't think going 0-3 matters at all. I would like to see the Blues for remaining games, put more than one line together, and if we lose these games, then I might be concerned.

The losses themselves definitely don't matter, but the lack of scoring and the slow, almost lethargic play from a lot of Blues players is somewhat concerning, now that we're 5 games in.

@notenewspod hey wld you guys consider doing an ep on our crowded bottom 6? We have like 12 dudes gunning for those 6 spots. Personally i hope sundqvist, texier, faksa, holloway(2nd line?), trop, kap and Zach Dean our the projected lines. Alsomaybe Joseph in the mix

Did you guys see the sdpn video on the blues yesterday? Fulled w lolz, but then again they don't usually watch blues hockey so can't get too put off by their analysis

Do you guys think the Buch situation switching to Centre is similar to when the baseball Cardinals take random players with little to no experience at 2B and make them their starting second basemen like they did with Skip Schumacher and Gorman Thomas?

It's similar, but not exactly the same. They're switching Buch to center out of necessity, because of their lack of top 6 center depth, but Buch has some level of experience and success at center already. They've also got a lot of promising young forwards and they'll need to find somewhere to play them.

I like what you guys are trying to do, but I think it would be much better if you had more inside scoops, news, quantitative or otherwise differentiated analysis etc. Your opinions are interesting but not necessarily sticky for me. I think you'd benefit from other content. Can you add some more content that is less opinion-oriented and more synthesis, data-rich, or unavailable elsewhere online?
