Lovely E28 ! I actually got an E28 520I Shadowline from 1987, only 163000 kms ! Still perfect car and i'll keep it for a long time, danke BMW for making great cars !

Yes it is. I had an E 28 (520 i) which was unfortunately lost in an accident. Then I bought an E 34 (520 i 4 ventiles) in 1990 which I still drive now. And moreover I bought in 2015 a F 10 (535 i). They all are magnificient.

I have a Zinnobar red 1987 525e in the UK and it's a brilliant car. Nice to drive and one of the best looking saloon cars from the 80's.

My first car E28 1986 full complictation. Almost done full restoration (only original parts) and only body left. Already buy another BMW - E32. Then E34 .. Now i looking for E23. One love - and its - E28... she will be with me to the end of my days... p/s : maybe someday i will go to the Germany. Pss : M30 POWER!

The E28 design is clever. Although it looks like E12 but many persons can tell that E28 was born in the 80s and E12 was born in the 70s.On the other hand, G30 has many differences from F10 but persons can't separate G30 from F10.

If you are planning on buying a bmw please read this: I purchased my bmw in 2017 and in only one year my car had a problem with its air condition 5 times and each time it took 2 weeks for it to be fixed and in only a little while it would have the same problem again. So if you value your time and money think twice about purchasing a bmw

The most characteristic 5 series! If a kid would be asked tot draw a car, it would look like this: boxy and little or no useless lines. The E12 and E34 i found were a little bit dozy. Probably because of the similar sized headlights. The most timeless 5 is the E39: clean lines, not one artificial. A M-package brings out the best in its design. Best build-quality too.: bomb proof, before the bean-counters took over :( . Bangles E60... hideous. F10, far better, although a little bit too much designed/artificial lines going on. G30, cleaner!

Fradias11 i mean the managers who think shortterm profits are more important than longevity. Yes these bookholders are important too, to keep the business running. See Fokker where technicians had too little eye for the costs. They went bankrupt. But financial people should not take the upperhand in technical companies.

ZinnobberRot is this colour and was the best red they have ever done, I don't know why they replaced it with a basic GM-Ford type red. The paint mix has brilliant blue and black and yellow mixed in it.
