Just by chance, my wife and I met Bob Gurr at Napa Rose on our anniversary this past March. I have several pieces of Bob autographed memorabilia . I have great admiration for him. I felt like a teenage girl getting to meet Taylor Swift backstage. All I wanted to do was thank him for all of the happiness and adventures his efforts have provided millions of people over the years. Bob was VERY kind and accommodating. He talked to us for a few minutes and insisted upon taking pictures with us. It was amazing. Thank you, Bob!

Charles does bring us a lot of nostalgic cars, homes and clothes, but I never dreamed in all my life he would wear a shirt with fish🐠🐠🐠

I love your use of tools and more commonly sourced hardware. The project came out looking great! I also like using the tap in the drill press. I never thought of doing that, but it keeps it totally straight. I found that in my career as a mechanic that when you double nut fasteners, you really don't need a lock washer between the nuts and when I adjusted valves in engines and you tightened the jam nuts, the valve lash loosened slightly due to stretching of the screw, but your not dealing with anywhere near the torque of a jam nut on a rocker lever in an engine with these fasteners. i love this Bob! I love all the set details too! I had that Disneyland lunchbox there as a child. I relate so much to his comments about Disneyland design. As i travel I am always saying "this looks like Disneyland____ area!". Thank you for sharing your magic with us Bob. You and Walt and all the other people who created Disneyland....you brought MAGIC to my life from a young age. Disneyland is my Home. The one place i am always safe and can block out anything outside the berm.

loved when charles said "it feels like coming home" and "i feel like every age i've ever been" - i've never been able to articulate that feeling, but now i finally can! such a wonderful interview with two of my ultimate icons.

Sooo absolutely true, the feelings that Charles describes are totally true. Being on the planet just as Disneyland was opening! Going at least 1/ year on Valentines day for my parent’s Anniversary in addition to going anytime visitors came to stay with us. Disneyland is a touchstone. It does feel like coming home every time.
