I wish Trina would have at least chosen to call Curtis another word for father other than “dad” since that’s what she calls Taggert. I can imagine it would be so hurtful for Taggert to hear her call Curtis dad…if we ever saw him.

I loved the scenes between Anna & Jason. Jagger is very one track minded. Jason wasn’t going to divulge all of his missing pieces. But once he learned Jagger exploited his memory loss to convince him to work with the Feds it was open season! 😂 Jason wanting to keep his motivation of protecting Carly a secret will most definitely have a ripple effect with her, his kids, etc.

I’m a Jasam fan but I’m a Sam fan first. The best version of Jason Morgan was played by Billy Miller. His love and loyalty for Sonny and Carly was very much present but he understood he was a father and a husband above all else. I don’t see what so great about this story for Jason except for the fact that I get to see more of my Sam with her kids and Liz with her kids.

Great broadcast, as always. Totally agree about Portia's scene w/ Laura and Alexis regarding Heather. And yes, as great as Alley Mills is, Heather should not be redeemed in this way for the sake of keeping her onscreen more. What the show has done to Taggert is consistent with the erasure of Black characters you've talked about so often. It really is a disgrace that he's not even mentioned, and it does such a disservice to his history as a character, as well as to Trina's character (because she had said that nothing would change between them if Curtis was revealed to be her bio-dad). I hate it. Regarding Jagger's recast, I'm not sure the original was a POC; the actor is Italian-American.

No, they said screw Trina so they can redeem Heather and Cyrus. Trina’s story should be If any thing her pouring her grief in her work and school in a very unhealthy way which results in her family worrying about her and trying to get her into therapy cause something just seems off about her and hell no Kevin should not be her therapist. I mean common the girl tragically lost 2 friends, two boyfriends in the span of 4yrs and her dad (non tragically) in some sense. That should be her story as we wait for Spencer’s return. These writers are lame, old and new regime. I’m not impressed🥴

I don’t think that we said anything that disagrees with your point. In other recordings we have talked about possible stories for Trina and we have always said we wanted her on the front burner. We have also been clear that it sucked to try to redeem characters like Heather, Cyrus and Esme in the past on her back.

I’m still trying to figure out how they’d have anything on Carly she didn’t cover herself on when she cut that immunity deal when they got Cyrus. It’s on brand for Jason to protect Carly but I think even she’ll be upset w/him because she didn’t ask him to do it. Also she’s going to try & fix it & it’s gonna be a hot mess & I’m probably going to enjoy it lol. I think it’s wild that Sam has erased every crazy thing she’s done & blaming Danny’s behavior all on Jason ..she sold their ELQ shares to see Jason lol …I hope the writing improves

Remembering how guilty Drew was when he returned from the island leaving his twin brother for dead, recent resentment toward Jason is what Jagger exploits. Drew is a jealous man who tries to make his own way through his life and finds himself trapped in his brother’s shadow.😡

Like James Lott Jr always says Maurice, Laura and now that Steve has return are 1,2,3 on the call sheet meaning they are the leads of the show. Cynthia and Maura share that 4th top spot. The show is going to center around the leads like the did in the 1980’s and early 90’s when the show was more actioned centered and Robert, Anna, Felicia, Frisco and Sean where leads of the show. There was good chunk of time where Anna was the top leading lady and everything centered around her and her family. The it moved to Felicia and Frisco, etc

Love the show, I have to agree Tonya I do not like Jaeger at all. Tonya good point Jason left and stayed gone for Carly and just would do it over his kids and mom that will be sad if there isn't more to it.Bring Taggert back after all he is Trina true father and yet with the Spencer dying where is Taggert ? In the 60s we played out no phones and could run all around Rich town growing up before moving to Oak town we had so much fun riding around everywhere. Now stays my grand kids better have that phone or I am calling them seeing why they haven't checked on me.Different times now so sad. Tonya, I fast forward most Nina scenes totally team Carly for many years.I agree Heather should not skate on everything. Royale is it? Anyway, the actor who played the role of Taggert was the guest today 04/07 on Maurice Benard’s State of Mind. He has written a book about how to continue to your purpose in life and recognize anything you do is important to your purpose not the goal. He and Maurice shared they’ve had shared emotional experiences in the past and both men were very emotional. This man has committed his life to God and anyone asking where is Taggert should watch this episode.👌🏽

She definitely made mistakes. Jason was mad at her for kidnapping Cyrus’s mom. Her being over the top about getting Jason out of jail was also a mistake. Whatever got her caught by the feds just annoyed me personally.
