Thank you for another lovely episode. I bet you can't wait to see your family this Christmas! I'll be spending my Christmas Day working. I've offered to work for a colleague who in turn can spend Christmas Day with his wife and children. I'll hopefully be able to get some knitting done in the evening while my other half is doing his Christmas shift. We will celebrate on Boxing Day instead. Lovely again Auden glad ur goin to enjoy our Scottish Xmas I am in Edinburgh too I will have my two sons and their families for Xmas turkey and ham all the trimmings I ve made six Xmas cakes and two Xmas puddings I give as gifts so been busy

I don't really make plans at Christmas anymore. My kids are all grown up and have families of their own. I am a nurse so I tend to work at Christmas to allow as many of my colleagues with children at home have Christmas off, so I am working Christmas day and Boxing day this year. I get New Year off, but to be honest I just go to my bed and do not make a fuss about New Year either. I do have a small yarn advent which should be fun to open daily :) T x

What a lovely advent calendar, I love the idea of the story as well - I can't wait to see it! It's so nice to hear about other people's Christmas traditions, your tree sounds lovely! I've made dried orange garlands in the past and they're so nice to make. We're also planning on making wreaths this year as a family on the weekend which I'm looking forward to. Looking forward to your next episode and seeing your finished no frills sweater - you and Rebecca from Crea Bea have totally inspired me to knit one!
