At that time, A Stepford Connect service derailed just south of Stepford Junction this was the 12:32 Edgemead to Stepford Victoria or 2N11 which blocked the line also at the same time an Airlink service crashed into that service causing platform 14 to be shut same with platform 13 which caused a massive disruption over the line
