Welcome to Among Us! It's a simple deception game. As crewmates, we have to complete a set of tasks before the impostors can win. The impostors must sabotage and take out crew mates in order to stop them from completing their tasks. No communication is allowed during the actual rounds. Once a body has been discovered or an emergency meeting is called, we can discuss our accounts of what happened. Then we try to vote the likely impostors off the ship. This game is SO MUCH FUN. Seeing how easily people are fooled, lied to, and persuaded playing this game I absolutely no longer have any faith whatsoever in our legal system that puts so much importance on eyewitness testimony and relies on potential witnesses/perpetrators to tell the truth. If Among Us was being played in the real world, with real lives, countless innocent people would have wrongly died, and the similarities I see to our actual legal system are way too uncanny.

@@RobertMorgan this is 100% why I'm against the death penalty. Regardless of your beliefs on the morals of killing bad people even a small risk of murdering an innocent makes it wrong. You would need the most extreme evidence to say with 100% certainty that someone was guilty and eyewitness, most cameras, and even confessions just aren't good enough.

@@theInsaneRodent I don't think shields is a super common task to have, though, so there's a chance it can help out an imposter if they're pressed for information on which tasks they've done. If they say shields and someone else had shields already, then that person can be put on the suspect list until they can prove their innocence.

I recently discovered that on Polus you can do wiring through walls. The one right below the emergency button can be accessed through the wall outside of the building. Do this if you wanna appear sus for sitting in one spot with no task near. This also works in the lab, it prevents you from having to go into the bathroom stalls and you can do it from behind the wall. This actually has a practical use cuz it keeps you from going into a dangerous spot

I'm glad they voted for Cheesey around the 24 minute mark, but it was so easy to work out. His defence was that an imposter would have vented (true but not guaranteed) and that he didn't go that far into electrical... except that the only task in electrical that doesn't require you to go round the corner is lights and a) he was walking from the right side of the room and b) the lights had been on the whole time. Even when they're right, they're so slow at getting there and miss so many things!

For that first one: Ive been hearing about that vent glitch alot lately. No one knows why but sometimes going through a door shows as venting to others.

I want to say it's due to the game probably having two things of animation code that deal with entering a room (either venting or walking through a door) that are getting mixed together causing an animation for venting when it doesn't happen. I've witnessed some vent animation glitches such as the vent not opening and someone just teleporting on top of the vent.

Had that happen in a game a few days ago. Literally killed no one and won because everyone was voting off the accused and accusers while my imposter buddy killed the rest. Felt so useless, Lol. I guess they need to take my killing card back.

I hate it when people accuse based on how fast someone is doing something. Being slow does not always equal imposter, some people are just slow, maybe their tired or they misclicked. Making an accusation based solely on speed and nothing else is stupid.

Yeah speed means nothing. It's if the bar/green line moves or not. They could get lucky and another crew members save them an be doung task too but if they stand thete an bar no move that easy way to know an imposter. 🤷🏾 don't know why more people don't do this.
