The Body of Christ | God made us all special

Douglas Learns that God made us all special, and we all have a part to play in the Body of Christ.
Douglas is a part of the Quiz Bowl team at his school, he and the three other kids on his team compete against other schools in a competition focusing on math, social studies, and science. Douglas' friend Riley is very good at math, she answers all the math questions. His friend Colton is very good at history and geography, he answers all the social studies questions. Douglas loves science, especially when it comes to animal facts, he answers all the science questions. and then there's Braden... Braden hasn't answered a single question in the last four competitions, and frankly, Douglas is a little mad that he gets the same trophy that he and his other teammates worked so hard for. Douglas feels like Braden is pretty useless, and wishes he wasn't on the team at all. But one day, Douglas' Quiz Bowl team was competing against their rival, Richman Pines. The Richman Pines kids are really smart, and really snooty. They get very braggy whenever they win. It was a very close competition and it came down the the last question, a science question! They asked a question about a venomous mammal, and everyone looked to Douglas to answer the question, but he didn't know the answer! He was pretty sure there wasn't even such a thing as a venomous mammal. When Douglas heard the buzzer he was sure Richman Pines got it, but then he heard Braden's voice give the correct answer! Their team won! It turns out that Braden knew a little bit of everything, and his job on the team was to try and answer the questions his teammates didn't know in all three subjects. Without Braden on their team, they would have lost. Just like the body is made up of many parts, we Christians are a part of the body of Christ, and we all have different jobs to do! No matter what your talents or gifts may be (and EVERYONE has a talent or gift that they can bring to the table) we're all important to the Body of Christ. If the body was only made up of eyes, where would the sense of smell be? If the body was made up only ears, how would you get around? We're all important, and we all need each other. Let's all work together to be the Body of Christ!
