Paya wali Aunty rehti thi. 20 rupaye mein paya soup milta tha. Every part of the goat was made into something amazing like a kebab, curry or soup. Aunty kareeb kareeb 20 saal yahan roz bhuko ko khilati thi. She was a very humble person. The idli uncle at Toyota showroom was mentioned. When I used to work at a call centre at Magnus towers at Mindspace, this was the only fresh and delicious street food one could enjoy from 10pm to 4am. Thank you Sid for bringing those fond memories back ❤

Agreed. And this is a part of the Human Condition, and to say that someone poor could not experience it is factually incorrect and also very classist. In fact the hard living conditions can really shape a person's mental health negatively. They may not use the word 'depression' or 'anxiety', does not mean they feel fulfilled and in control of their lives. Say this to a the farmers who committed suicide, to the people who have no idea where their next meal might be coming from, where a family lives in a single cramped house, where you can slip into abject destitution if someone falls sick and get landed with hospital bills worth lakhs. The list is endless.
