lolroflstomp It's a tough balance of getting the vocal bring enough, but also trying to minimize the cymbal bleed. Usually need to have the vocals darker than what is ideal.

To be fair, the biggest problem in your live performances are... guitar skills, it sounds like shit when you can't play the melodies clearly. Watched all the live from the rock room and bridge city sessions - in every single video it's the same situation

@@TenableVegan What, their studio recording? Pretty sure it has 2 guitars going at least. Even back then before their major succes. Don't get me wrong I'm a big fan of the older Blink stuff. Check out some decent live footage of them playing any of their older/faster stuff. Both bands have a different sound in general, Mark always has a more full basssound coming from his love for bands like The Cure.. This guy (sorry, don't know his name) has a more punchy basssound. Maybe Tom dails up his sound differently being a one guitar band compaired to these ladies dailing up their sound to not get in eachothers way sonicly. I've been playing guitar in bands for 15+ years, single and double guitar bands. It's a whole different ballgame playing punkrock with 2 guitars in a band without it going into a big mush of sound.
