9:28-16:10 For the Opie "hate", it's yet again...really disappointing. Listen for yourself, they barely even talk about Opie. But Big Jay lightheartedly busts "Opie's" balls and makes a few jokes because he's mad that they were moved out of their space to a smaller studio room. It's the equivalent of dealing with a friend who gets mad about something and doesn't know who to blame, then you calm him down and he goes "yeah I know..." and then just kicks the ground out of frustration. Anyways, if you think it's "RADIO WARS" then prepare to be disappointed.

I don't really blame him for Anthony, he didn't fire Anthony, fucking Sirius XM fired him. But what has he done since then to make the show at least listenable? Jack and his best friend shit. And his starting every show with that morning zoo voice makes my skin crawl in disgust. I guess my main problem with Opie is, he's lazy and he obviously hates doing the show. I think the reasons for that is, 1. Anthony is gone, 2. He's already got his guaranteed money, and 3. a whole lot of people hate his guts. The last two are on him. I mean having Sirius XM protect him from callers doesn't help anyone. On this very episode, Jay wanted to have fun with two Opie haters, but they got the axe. That's fucked up! If Opie could be a little more self-deprecating and go back and forth with his critics, he would be a lot more likable and he might enjoy it. But instead he prefers to be Gregshells. And if he would prep for the show a little more, that might help too. I know he has guaranteed money but come on! It's called being professional. He still has a lot of fans that deserve to be entertained. I guess that's most of it. I will not write about Opie again, I am done with him and his show. Take it easy.
