It’s been a hard year/life....... This song says a lot of what I feel. I just found out who my dad was less than 3 years ago... He got into alcohol and it kept me from seeing him a lot..... He died earlier this year........ Then I found out I’m not producing eggs and can’t have children. I’m 34. I feel like I’m grieving something/someone I’ve never had or met. I’m just having a hard time. But I’m trying to stay. I joined the church in 2009 and left in 2012. I came back in 2017....... I’m not leaving. Even though I don’t feel him right now, he’s here. This song proves that.

I love you and Heavenly Father really loves you. I know what it's like to grieve lost hopes and opportunities that you see others take for granted. Consider asking for a blessing. There's also a self reliance course for emotional self reliance. It would be a good place to find a support system.

I just finished watching Jane&Emma. I fell in love with the film and the music. So I looked The Bonner Family up on KZbin and found this beautiful song. I am just now a new subscriber and a forever fan! I was baptized in the Morman church late in life. (None of my family are a member of the Church of Latter Day Saints). And then I drifted away. That was a lifetime ago. I am going through some hard times and wanted to find an inspirational movie that I could relate to. This movie brought me to tears in a blessed way. I will always remember my short time with my LDS family. Can’t explain why I never went back...Let me just say it had zero to do with the church. I no longer live in that town/state and have felt like I may never have the same family connection again. Divorce brought major changes and many life lessons. Perhaps one day I can relive the spiritual experience that I have forever held in my heart. I never lost it. I just got lost. Thank you for your joy. I felt your love for your family and the love of God. This gives me much hope that HE still has a plan for me. 💛

When I listen to various LDS artists, I sometimes wonder if they truly mean what they are singing. I wonder if they are simply mouthing the words; do they truly understand what they are saying? Like what Nephi said, do they "feel" the words? I don't have to ask this question of your family when I listen to this song.
