You don't have to be a Scott to just love this version. By far the best vocal version I have ever heard. We hear it loud and clear over the boarder in England. Thanks for uploading.

Well done. This is perhaps the best version of this song I've ever heard.

My darling wife was at school in Fyvie in the late1920s where her grandparents lived. We lived in many countries and is buried in the small Spanish village we retired to 30 years ago.She married a RAF sergeant and they went to the USAF based in Germany then Libya and then to many countries so the song is wrong , she spent many years with the military,

A weird choice of soldier pictures when the song was set during the war of the three kingdoms , or as its commonly known The English civil War …even though it started in Scotland 😊

I come from this general area and lived in Methlick, Old Meldrum, Ythan side most of my life and I think this is the best version of the Bonnie lass! Only thing was the mispronounciation of Gight. It's not geet but Gi ch t with the ch as in loch hard in other words.

I'm sorry folks but this is a love lament and not meant to be belted out like a dancing record at a disco , if you want to hear it sang correctly listen to the Corries

Hey guys. Your music is outstanding. Along with the ones you've already uploaded, I'm very fond of, "Arranmore". I'd greatly appreciate it if you could upload it to youtube, so that I could download/share the song, if that's alright.

Nice version of the song. Nearly as good as Andy Stewart, Anne Lorne Gillies or the Corries.
