Wow! This was on time. My husband and I just did a fast together and we were studying Ecclesiastes 11. This was so good. It’s sooo true that we get consumed with trying to do more and overwork ourselves. Without Christ it’s meaningless. We must have a BALANCE. We keep stressing over so much. We are chasing the bag but don’t forget the small things like time with your family. Don’t forget God in the midst of your success or journey to success. May we not get distracted and spend time with God in prayer, reading the Bible and fasting when he is calling us to. He deserves it ALL. I will carry this word with me. ❤❤ Amen thank you brother!

Reading The book of Ecclesiastes is literally how I started my year. Because it really is understanding what we do for the Lord is what’s going to last. Not money social media, jobs, etc. The question is Did WE DO IT UNTO THE LORD? What are our motives for the things we are aiming SO HARD for? Did we talk to God about this thing we’re targeting? We really forget to take these types of questions into consideration. So I’m learning to move slower on taking actions but taking it up with God first.

Amen, It's the modern western lifestyles. The most content people are actually in some areas of the world where traditional values and family and good basic things are still important and not getting caught in materialism and keeping up with Jones ect. We need to be in but not of this fallen world which ultimately is going to the dogs anyway and truly is all vanity/havel. Blessings from England.

This is good stuff man Thanks , I was watching one of Myles Munroe and he was giving a brief summary of the Books of the Old Testament were about He mentioned Ecclesiates daring ppl to live their life w/o God, and that we can not , that eventually we will always strive for more I search Eccesialtes on KZbin and saw your tittle Pretty much explaining in depth what you said in this video about Contentment and Balance, and That everything around us does not matter
