Thank you for this Excellent interview. It was clear concise well-thought-out And delivered with eloquence. I believe the Bible to be the living Word of God- The book of Esther included- It's a wonderful thing when historical evidence brings a bible story to life- There will always be deniers skeptics and scoffers- Thank God our faith stands firm with or without scientific proof or archaeological substantiation. Merry Christmas! Happy Hanukkah! May God bless You and yours young men!

Book of Esther is special because of many reasons. One, it’s the first time the identity ‘Jew’ is used. It also is the only book where G-d is not mentioned. The name Esther is Persian, but there is a play on the name in Hebrew to show that G-d hid himself, ‘lhaster’ from the world. Mordechai and Esther were the protagonists that defeated Haman. There are no Torah (orthodox) Jews that are so called detractors of the book. The book of Esther is highly regarded in Torah Judaism.
