The question is, why do bad things happen to good people? The answer for Job; trust in His majesty and perfect justice, and remember your position in humility! One answer Job is not given, but we are; sometimes it's because God allows the Accuser to test His faithful. And in the end, God will reward those who fear Him!

Job was never righteous, before God , he has self righteous which cannot give no one access to internal life. The bible says , blessed is a man whom the Lord imputes righteousness. Thanks why he repents in job 38 -42 and says he say I knew not what I said, God used the book of job to preach salvation.
@escanor790Күн бұрын
@passmorechig That seems wrong. Please reread the intro. Stop putting your sermons into the story. Job was righteous before God (but not sinless). His sin was probably that he thought his righteousness gave him an audience with God. He was blameless before God but in the end still a man
@escanor790Күн бұрын
God said job spoke right about God but its clear job said some things wrong since he was also rebuked. What exactly? Thats tough to say. But its not so simple to say he was never righteous. Flatly contradicted by the story's intro.
@escanor790Күн бұрын
Job pleased God and without faith it is not possible to please God. Perhaps God wanted to show Job that through suffering his faith could grow more. Job thought suffering was only for the wicked and was upset at God since a righteous man (himself) was suffering. So while jobs view of god was more correct than his friends view, it was stil lacking. I'm still learning this book.

I’m young so please but I always get so sad thinking that God would do this just to prove the devil wrong. Do I understand yes, do I feel horrible for Job still tho yes especially when his kids died too 😭 and then my biggest thing is thinking Adam and Eve brought fourth trouble and pain into the world but the cause of Jobs was the Devil himself it wasn’t natural evil idk tho just my thoughts as a young new believer

The voice of Satan is not easy to hear and understand.
@hugoriquelme47129 ай бұрын
God = Your awareness of being, ones right or pre-conditioned mind. Satan = the ego, the voice of doubt, fear. Sin = Missing the mark. When you listen to the voice of fear instead of the preconditioned mind. (You will miss the mark). Heaven = a state of consciousness of expansiveness Hell = a state of misery, depression, also within consciousness Job = the human condition, suffering Repentance = a radical change in consciousness The book is not addressing occurrences of space and time but ones state of consciousness. You cant see GOD (consciousness or the formless) but simply experience the manifestations of where you choose to dwell in awareness. Everything turning up in your experience is caused by you. Cause and effect. Time to stop being simply hearers of the word and be DO-ers. Own your creations.
