Thumbs up please! Apologies for the mistake. I understand the ruins are Machu Picchu in Peru, not the AZTEC ruins.

I love the intro. We're a culture not a costume, so its important that if you dress up as a Catrina or something else representative of a culture that isn't yours, you do it by paying homage and not following stereotypes or disrespected by turning it into something that its not. If you were intrigued by the intro then look up Dia de los Muertos events around were you live and go learn and experience this beautiful tradition. You did an amazing job Dulce.

Thanks for not just doing the tutorial but for actually explaining the meaning behind it for those people who do these tutorials and don't really know why Mexicans do this and celebrate it. This is more than just "face painting" it's a tradition, culture and very meaningful for us mexicans. Thanks Dulce 👏🏼 and loved the way this came out 😍
@Risosi15158 жыл бұрын
Im sure Candy knows that the picture she put of Machu Pichu is from Peru not Mexico but also this holiday is celebrated in many other countries in Latin America not just Mexico! Just for those of you who don't know.
@mileyrox09048 жыл бұрын
Risosi1515 She talked about it as a Mexican tradition, so no it didn't make sense to put a picture of peru while talking about the Aztecs
@arosef65228 жыл бұрын
Risosi1515 i also thought about that when she showed Machu Pichu, which had nothing to do with the history of Dia de los Muertos!
@FloraNovax38 жыл бұрын
Risosi1515 but it's not called Dia de los muertos in other countries. This concept in general started from the indigenous race, other ppl took it and put their "name" on it. Cultural appropriation.
@herirodriguez55297 жыл бұрын
Risosi1515 La tradición es Mexicana desde hace 3000 años, pero que bueno que nuestros hermanos de latino América nos sigan las huellas.

+Maliyah Ayala LATINAS. Hispanic is a dirty word. That word is for white Spaniards and just some bullshit the white government likes to use for us. WE ARE LATINOS/AS!!!!!!!!!!
@FloraNovax38 жыл бұрын
La Jíncha actually Latina is even dirtier than Hispanic. We aren't Latina. None of us are, I'm not talking just about Mexicans. We are indigenous ppl.
@ladiabla24068 жыл бұрын
BonitaMamiix3 Most Latinos are Mestizos. I'm sick of Latinos that clearly aren't 100% indigenous claiming to be it. And trust me, the real indigenous people are sick of it too :) Hispanic is a made up word by WHITES. We're Latinos; deal with it. Most of us have Spaniard blood and you seem to be having a hard time accepting that lol.
@ladiabla24068 жыл бұрын
BonitaMamiix3 Ya'll need to stop speaking over real indigenous people. You clearly aren't completely indigenous lol. My ex who was Ecuadorian had more indigenous features than you and he was mestizo. You're mixed, mami. It's not our fault Spain fucked out ancestors over, but we have to accept facts that the majority of us are mixed because of it; Latino is an ethnicity not a race. Case closed.
