Chapter 1 introduces the theme of the gospel and discusses humanity's rebellion against God, emphasizing that people have turned away from the truth and given in to sin. Paul explains that God's wrath is revealed against all ungodliness and unrighteousness.
Chapter 2 continues this theme by addressing the Jews, warning them that merely having the law is not enough for righteousness. Paul highlights the importance of obedience and shows that God's judgment is impartial, applying to both Jews and Gentiles.
Chapter 3 emphasizes the universal nature of sin, stating that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Paul introduces the concept of justification by faith through grace, presenting Jesus Christ as the means of salvation for all who believe, regardless of their background.
