The Ancient Egyptian Book of the Dead is a funerary text that played a crucial role in the afterlife beliefs and rituals of the ancient Egyptians. Created around 1550 BCE during the New Kingdom period, this collection of spells, hymns, and instructions served as a guide for the deceased on their journey to the afterlife. The text encompasses a wide range of topics, including the judgment of the soul, rituals for purification, and descriptions of the gods and goddesses encountered in the afterlife #shorts

This is exactly what I've learned over the last three years being led by my guides. We are eternal we are here in this physical realm to grow and transcend. Our home is not here and the things that are not seen but felt with the heart will be the things that will transcend you into eternal growth. Wisdom comes from the higher self in the higher dimensions. Balance is acknowledging your Darkside, but leaving it behind to choose the light Namaste.

Egyptologists have admitted that they accidentally misinterpreted the title of this book from the ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs. Its actual name is "The Book of the Coming Forth by Day," not the Egyptian Book of the Dead. The Egyptians were focused on life, not death. Peace and love!

Thank you for all your rivetting posts. My favorite is about the Zen master who had his student punch water for a year without having a clue about the deep importance of the inner practice. The student learned exactly what he asked finally and after violent confusion. Great thanks again.

I've heard from my teacher who has been to Egypt dozens of times and has learned hyeiroglyphics and was taught by an egyptian high priest who claimed to belong to a long line of ancient priests in Egypt, that the original name of the Egyptian Book of the Dead is The Egyptian Book of Coming Forth into Life. Interesting. The Egyptians believed the physical life was a preperatory process for the journey of the soul into higher realms of Light and Life. In another way it is similiar to the Bhuddist concept of Samsara, the illusion that physical life is actually life full blown. These esoteric teachings reveal to us that earth life is a small sliver of the full spectrum of life. Therefore the funerary content, though associated with how we see death, are rituals and stages through which the soul enters higher realms which is associated with greater degrees of Light and Life not revealed to our physical senses. Thus death is a doorway to more life and life's infinite journey through the cosmos. Death is not dead nor is death nonexistence. Disease, accidents and murders that lead to the death of the body is, in a way, a form of evicting or transitioning the lifeforce out of it's physical container. Death is a transitory period and the Egyptians were Masters at navigating this earth life, the transitory life after death and beyond. These ancient profoundly esoteric teahings are basically a form of a manual of life and Spirit in relation to the journey of our soul revealing to us that life on this planet is but one island in an infinite cosmic ocean filled with innumerable islands to explore. The Egyptians considered a "dead" person to be more along the lines of something that looks like an individual who is walking, breathing, talking and doing life just like you and me but they may be a psychopath or sociopath; someone whose actions destroy life while the person doing the destruction has no sense of empathy, compassion or spirituality. It could also be someone who is eating themselves to death because in their view the body is a sacred temple designed to hold and conduct divine energies of Light and Life. Therefore someone whose life, actions, thoughts and emotions are destructive, to them that is a walking dead person. There are more examples but damn I have written a lot here already. I can go on for days. I hope some of you found this interesting. I LOVE THIS KZbin CHANNEL ❤

That is Garuda (Eagle) Purana from Hindu scriptures. That's why Egyptian gods were depicted as Eagle. Egyptian civilization was also kind of branch of current Hindu civilization.

Hm, Bible says something similar but of course it says we need help to get to the right place after death. in other words, we need a Saviour to guide us there and a Saviour to tell us the whole truth so we can have inner peace and of course to purge us from our past sins

It is strange that both weigh your heart against a feather. It is strange that both believe you must go through and pass a series of trials before you can move on to the next life. For two cultures that existed so far apart they do share common ideas.@@premchopra6521
