Welcome back, Connor! I don't know why, but I was sure you had already read the Garth Nix books. I still need to get to those... I'm currently reading Somewhere Beyond the Sea, and I enjoy it. but I don't like it as much as House in the Cerulean Sea

Thank you!! It's nice to be back and hopefully it sticks again this time! I plan to film the second part to finish up my 2024 reading year this weekend and maybe film my holiday/birthday book haul as well, so there is content to be made lol

@@KittyAndTheBooks happy 2025 to you too!! Glad to be back! I got sick over the weekend, so I’ll have to try to sneak in filming a video after work this week to finish up my wrap up for 2024.

It's a solid younger middle grade book! I would say it gave me some similar vibes to Hoot if you've read that one. Thank you for the vibes for Nook!! We're hoping we caught it fairly early.

Connor! So great to have this video pop up in my feed. The Lives of Puppets wasn’t my favorite TJ Klune, but I still enjoyed it. Just took Manatee Summer out from the library. Agree about the Emily Henry. Not my favorite but still enjoyed it. Sweet Nook. I hope the test results are ok.

Hi!! It was nice to carve out a little time over the weekend to get this filmed and edited this week. I haven't done a wrap up in a long time, so I'm a little rusty. Yeah, this batch of books had a lot of enjoying, but I've enjoyed other books by them more. For Nook, the vet's cell sample wasn't enough to tell exactly what tumor he has, so the biopsy will give us more information and guide whatever treatments might be available (if any are needed).

I'm happy you're enjoying it! I think for me it suffered from me comparing it to the other books I've read by her.
